About Pereybere Beach

Pereybere Beach is located in the north end of Mauritius. More precisely it lies between the Grand Bay and Cap Malheureux. Pereybere Beach is a very fun filled beach. The water in this beach is deeper than most other beaches of Mauritius that gives the waters a deeper tinge of blue but the sea has always been very calm making it a safe proposition for the tourists. Pereybere beach attracts usually the younger crowds and during school holidays you will find lot youngsters playing some form of sports on the beaches. Sand Soccer, swimming, surfing, kite surfing etc are a favorite with the youngsters.

The waters are also very inviting for tourists and are teeming with rich coral and marine life. A dip into these crystal waters will reveal some of nature's most beautiful creations. If you take a walk towards the right end of the beach after crossing the rocks you are likely to find two secluded spots that offer you privacy and your own space away from the buzz of the crowd. The water at this end tends to be a bit deeper but it's not dangerous as the beaches are very calm, making it an ideal holiday of leisure and fun filled excitement.

Pereybere beach has loads of facilities and other amenities such as restaurants, toilets and police patrols. There are many local vendors who serve good and hygienic food. There are also many shops where you can collect souvenirs. It is also the perfect location to visit other nearby beaches and resorts such as Grand Bay or the Cape Malheureux both of which are a must see for tourists.
