Cap Malheureux is a small fishing village in Mauritius and it plays host to one of the most beautiful beaches you will able to lay your eyes on. Located at the northernmost tip of the country and it is just north of the Grand bay and about two miles from Pereybere.

It is famous for its lighthouse around the mid 1800's and is still in use. You then have the Coin de Mire which basically is an enormous rock. This place specially has a lot significant importance because it was the launching point of the English where they seized control from the French and that occupation lasted till 1968.
